Public Dreams

"Myths are public dreams, dreams are private myths," said Joseph Campbell.

 

This saying inspired Paula Jardine, the founding artistic director of the "Public Dreams" society in Edmonton and later, Vancouver. Public Dreams created huge events integrating artists, performers and the public with ritual, myth, celebration and activism.
