Keith Williams

Keith Williams

Keith Williams was raised on the rocky south shore of Nova Scotia’s mainland. He currently lives on the north island where he teaches at the North Island College. Over the past several years, Keith has had the opportunity to work as an ethnobotanist in several cultural communities. He is currently obsessed with fermentation technologies; some of his projects are delicious, others are barely edible. Some projects include: sourdough made from wild yeasts, plain mead and mead made with local plants for flavour, nuka pickles, kishk, soygurt, feta and bloomy rind cheeses, bouza (not recommended), and more...
