Judi Stevenson was a coordinator of The Islands in the Salish Sea Community Mapping Project from 2000 to 2005 and co-editor of Islands in the Salish Sea: a Community Atlas, published in 2005. Her graduate degrees are in the sociology of education, with sidelines in psychology and political science. She has written for television, radio and print media, lectured at universities, provided policy analysis for governments and community-based organizations, and is now running a one-woman research and communications consultancy on Salt Spring Island.
