Jim Standen

Jim Standen is a recently retired Manager from the University of Calgary who is re-igniting his past interest in photography. He lives in the Vesuvius area of Salt Spring Island and has other interests including hiking, biking and especially, kayaking. He has been a prize winner at the Fall Fair photography contest and his photographs have been published in the Driftwood. He has a passionate interest in creative economic strategies and local investment. He offers personal financial coaching on a volunteer basis to qualified clients, and investigates and writes on alternative economic approaches.
